As the founder of the Hahnemann Institute of the Netherlands, Alize has always opened her doors to prominent homeopaths from around the world, creating a vibrant community and sharing her knowledge with numerous colleagues – including Rajan Sankaran, Jeremy Sherr, Jürgen Becker, Jane Cicchetti, Resi Moonen, Andreas Björndahl, Divya Chhabra, Ab Straatman, Declan Hammond, Petra Stam, George Vithoulkas, and Didier Grandgeorge.
For over forty years, Alize has accompanied women and men through all life stages – with empathy, expertise, and a deep connection to universal healing powers.
She builds a bridge between classical homeopathy and the practical healing wisdom of women and men. In doing so, she supports her clients in better understanding, accepting, and actively shaping major life transitions – especially hormonal and holistic issues.
Her professional career began in biochemical genetics research, taking her from clinics in the Netherlands and Norway to the University of Amsterdam. Driven by a desire to understand life at its roots, Alize specialized in the epigenetics of higher plants (petunia). Her scientific curiosity led her to explore the deep connections between genetic patterns and the body's natural healing powers – the foundation of her dissertation on miasms and epigenetics.
Alize's path was always characterized by learning, growing, and sharing. She studied naturopathy, homeopathy, and astrology, opened her practice in 1981, and began teaching in 1986. At the Hahnemann Institute, Alize and her team developed new and unique remedies – from Lac humanum and Oxytocin to amniotic fluid, placenta, vernix caseosa, Hippocampus kuda, Folliculinum, umbilical cord (Umbellico cord), and DNA, to Sepia and Diamond.
Your work thus became a rich source of knowledge for homeopaths worldwide, deepening the principles of trituration and the effects of novel remedies.
As an international lecturer, Alize is known for her lively, practical approach and her ability to convey complex content in an understandable and tangible way. In her vibrant Dutch practice, she works with six dedicated colleagues – together they develop new strategies to continuously refine homeopathic therapy, always inspired by classical homeopathy, which is close to her heart.
Alize's warmth shows in every aspect of her work. She brings not only her expertise as a scientist, teacher, and therapist, but also the wisdom of her womanhood – as a mother, grandmother, and friend. Her goal is always to help others discover and strengthen their own self-healing powers.
